Zechariah 6

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA
1 Again I raised my eyes, and this is what I saw: four chariots coming out between two mountains, andthe mountains were mountains of bronze.	1 Alzai ancora gli occhi per osservare ed ecco quattro carri uscire in mezzo a due montagne e le montagne erano di bronzo.
2 The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot had black horses,	2 Il primo carro aveva cavalli bai, il secondo cavalli neri,
3 the third chariot had white horses and the fourth chariot had vigorous, piebald horses.	3 il terzo cavalli bianchi e il quarto cavalli pezzati.
4 I asked the angel who was talking to me, 'What are these, my lord?'	4 Domandai all'angelo che parlava con me: "Che significano quelli, signor mio?".
5 The angel replied, 'They are the four winds of heaven now leaving, after attending the Lord of the wholeworld.	5 E l'angelo: "Sono i quattro venti del cielo che partono dopo essersi presentati al Signore di tutta la terra.
6 The black horses are leaving for the land of the north; the white are following them, and the piebald areleaving for the land of the south.'	6 I cavalli neri vanno verso la terra del settentrione, seguiti da quelli bianchi; i pezzati invece si dirigono verso la terra del mezzogiorno.
7 They came out vigorously, eager to patrol the world. He said to them, 'Go and patrol the world.' Andthey patrol ed the world.	7 Essi fremono di percorrere la terra". Egli disse loro: "Andate, percorrete la terra". Essi partirono per percorrere la terra;
8 He called to me and said, 'Look, the ones going to the land of the north brought my spirit to rest on theland of the north.'	8 Poi mi chiamò e mi disse: "Ecco, quelli che muovono verso la terra del settentrione hanno fatto calmare il mio spirito su quella terra".
9 Then the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	9 Mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore:
10 'Col ect silver and gold from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, then (you yourself go thesame day) go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah, who has arrived from Babylon.	10 "Prendi fra i deportati, fra quelli di Cheldài, di Tobia e di Iedaià, oro e argento e va' nel medesimo giorno a casa di Giosia figlio di Sofonìa, che è ritornato da Babilonia.
11 Then, taking the silver and gold, make a crown and place it on the head of the high priest Joshua sonof Jehozadak.	11 Prendi quell'argento e quell'oro e ne farai una corona che porrai sul capo di Giosuè figlio di Iozedàk, sommo sacerdote.
12 And say this to him, "Yahweh Sabaoth says this: Here is a man whose name is Branch; where he is,there will be a branching out (and he wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary).	12 Gli riferirai: Dice il Signore degli eserciti: Ecco un uomo che si chiama Germoglio: spunterà da sé e ricostruirà il tempio del Signore.
13 Yes, he is the one who wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary; he wil wear the royal insignia and sit on histhrone and govern, with a priest on his right. Perfect peace wil reign between these two.	13 Sì, egli ricostruirà il tempio del Signore, egli riceverà la gloria, egli siederà da sovrano sul suo trono. Un sacerdote sarà alla sua destra e fra i due regnerà una pace perfetta.
14 And the crown wil serve Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah and the son of Zephaniah as a memorial of favour inYahweh's sanctuary.	14 La corona per Cheldài, Tobia, Iedaià e Giosia, figlio di Sofonìa, resterà di ricordo nel tempio del Signore.
15 And those now far away wil come and work on the building of Yahweh's sanctuary." 'Then you willknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you. It wil happen if you diligently obey the voice of Yahweh yourGod.'	15 Anche da lontano verranno a riedificare il tempio del Signore. Così riconoscerete che il Signore degli eserciti mi ha inviato a voi. Ciò avverrà, se ascolterete la voce del Signore vostro Dio".
