Nehemiah 10

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA
1 In view of al this we make a firm agreement, in writing. Our princes, our Levites, our priests and therest of the people have put their names to the document under seal.	1 "A causa di tutto questo noi vogliamo sancire un impegno stabile e lo mettiamo in iscritto. Sul documento sigillato vi siano le firme dei nostri capi, dei nostri leviti e dei nostri sacerdoti".
2 On the sealed document were the names of: Nehemiah, son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah;	2 Sul documento sigillato firmarono Neemia il governatore, figlio di Akalià, e Sedecìa,

29 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple slavesand all those who had severed relations with the people of the country to adhere to the law of God, as also theirwives, their sons, their daughters, that is, al those who had reached the age of discretion,	29 Il resto del popolo, i sacerdoti, i leviti, i portieri, i cantori, gli oblati e quanti si erano preparati dai popoli dei paesi stranieri per aderire alla legge di Dio, le loro mogli, i loro figli e le loro figlie, quanti avevano conoscenza e intelligenza,
30 have joined their esteemed brothers in a solemn oath to follow the law of God given through Moses,servant of God, and to observe and practise all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, with his rules and hisstatutes.	30 si unirono ai loro fratelli più ragguardevoli e si impegnarono con giuramento a camminare nella legge di Dio, data per mezzo di Mosè, servo di Dio, ad osservare e mettere in pratica tutti i comandi del Signore, Dio nostro, le sue decisioni e le sue leggi.
31 We will not give our daughters in marriage to the peoples of the country, nor allow their daughters tomarry our sons.	31 E in particolare: a non dare le nostre figlie agli abitanti del paese e a non prendere le loro figlie per i nostri figli;
32 If the people of the country bring goods or foodstuff of any kind to sel on the Sabbath day, we wilbuy nothing from them on Sabbath or holy day. In the seventh year, we wil forgo the produce of the soil and theexaction of al debts.	32 a non comprar nulla in giorno di sabato o in altro giorno sacro dai popoli che portassero a vendere in giorno di sabato qualunque genere di merci o di derrate; a lasciare in riposo la terra ogni settimo anno e a rinunziare a ogni credito.
33 We recognise the fol owing obligations: to give one-third of a shekel yearly for the service of theTemple of our God:	33 Ci siamo anche imposto per legge di dare ogni anno il terzo di un siclo per il servizio della casa del nostro Dio:
34 for the loaves of permanent offering, for the perpetual oblation, for the perpetual burnt offering, forthe sacrifices on Sabbaths, on New Moons and on festivals, for the consecrated gifts, the sin offerings to expiatefor Israel, in short, for the whole work of the Temple of our God;	34 per i pani dell'offerta, per il sacrificio continuo, per l'olocausto perenne, per i sacrifici dei sabati, dei noviluni, delle feste, per le offerte sacre, per i sacrifici espiatori in favore di Israele e per ogni lavoro della casa del nostro Dio.
35 Furthermore, as regards deliveries of wood for burning on the altar of our God as the law prescribes,we have arranged, by drawing lots, how these deliveries are to be made at the Temple of our God by the priests,the Levites and the people by families, at stated times every year.We wil no longer neglect the Temple of ourGod.	35 Tirando a sorte, noi sacerdoti, leviti e popolo abbiamo deciso circa l'offerta della legna da portare alla casa del nostro Dio, secondo i nostri casati paterni, a tempi fissi, anno per anno, perché sia bruciata sull'altare del Signore nostro Dio, come sta scritto nella legge.
36 and further, to bring yearly to the Temple of our God the first-fruits of our soil and the first-fruits of alour orchards,	36 Ci siamo impegnati a portare ogni anno nel tempio le primizie del nostro suolo e le primizie di ogni frutto di qualunque pianta,
37 also the first-born of our sons and of our cattle, as the law prescribes, the first-born of our herds andflocks should be taken to the Temple of our God for the priests officiating in the Temple of our God.	37 come anche i primogeniti dei nostri figli e del nostro bestiame, secondo quanto sta scritto nella legge, e i primi parti del nostro bestiame grosso e minuto, per presentarli nella casa del nostro Dio ai sacerdoti che prestano servizio nella casa del nostro Dio.
38 Furthermore, we shall bring the best of our dough, of every kind of fruit, of the new wine and of the oilto the priests, to the storerooms of the Temple of our God, and the tithe on our soil to the Levites -- the Leviteswil themselves col ect the tithes from all the towns of our religion.	38 Ci siamo anche impegnati a portare ai sacerdoti nelle stanze della casa del nostro Dio le primizie della nostra pasta, le nostre offerte prelevate, cioè le primizie dei frutti di qualunque albero, del vino e dell'olio, e a dare la decima delle rendite del nostro suolo ai leviti. I leviti stessi preleveranno queste decime in tutti i luoghi da noi coltivati.
39 An Aaronite priest wil accompany the Levites when they collect the tithes, and the Levites wil bringa tenth part	39 Un sacerdote, figlio di Aronne, sarà con i leviti quando preleveranno le decime; i leviti porteranno un decimo della decima alla casa del nostro Dio nelle stanze del tesoro;
40 a,b of the tithes to the Temple of our God, into the treasury storerooms; for these rooms are wherethe Israelites and the Levites are to bring the contributions of corn, wine and oil, and where the vessels of thesanctuary are, and the officiating priests, the gatekeepers and the singers.	40 perché in quelle stanze i figli d'Israele e i figli di Levi devono portare l'offerta prelevata sul frumento, sul vino e sull'olio; in quel luogo stanno gli arredi del santuario, i sacerdoti che prestano il servizio, i portieri e i cantori. Ci siamo impegnati così a non trascurare la casa del nostro Dio.
